Multiple shots fired at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Mehrauli MLA Naresh Yadav’s convoy and volunteers accompanying him to his home after victory procession. Firing happened while he was returning from temple. One party volunteer died and another sustained injured in the incident.
The claims were made by Aam Aadmi Party on its official Twitter handle. It tweeted Shots fired at AAP MLA

At least one volunteer has passed away due to bullet wounds. Another is injured.
According to party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, the volunteer who died was Ashok Mann.
Naresh Yadav is safe while the one injured is being treated.
